The sequel to my effect Blasted 1. This new video is much better and alot of detail was added to it.
First, fire comes out on my feet and I am blasted into the sky. And if you look closely the part of street is blasted away in the launch. Then I amazingly land on the moon and see a beautiful comet. What I think of this video: * Probably My Best Video Effect yet * Much Better that Blasted 1 * Really Detailed and amazing Effect

Blasted 2

I had some trouble finding the clothes I had for Blasted 2 in the past week but now I finnaly found them. Today, I did the landing part (40%) of the video which means I am 80% done with Blasted 2.
What I think of Blasted 2

• Probably My Best Video Effect yet
• Much Better that Blasted 1
  
• Amazing Effects

I really like the result I'm getting with Blasted 2 and I think you will all like it. And as you might have thought Blasted 2 will be uploaded to My Youtube. I still need to make the intro and add the sound effects, and I will probably so that tomorrow. I don't know If I will use my normal Intro or the New Speed Particle Intro.
Talking about the new speed particle intro...I uploaded it to revver the file was 755kb big so It uploaded in about half a second. But after one day it is still transcoding (usually after one hour it is done transcoding) so I dont know what is wrong with it. although the effects looks pretty cool.

Some people where asking me why I didnt upload a video this week and my answer is...This week is spring break which means no school...I've been with friends and stuff...I didnt want to rush blasted two so I postponed it to next week. Also, I have started 4 videos in my other Channel EJoFEJ which include a music parody, stopmotions and more...

Some Updates

I haven't done anything these days exept thinking of new ideas. I will probably continue Blasted 2 tomorrow and We (EJoFEJ) Started a new video... not done yet we are just getting the ideas in.
I also started the Super Long Jump video which is a video effect of me jumping over 10 tables, this was really fun to make, but Im not done with it yet I still need to make it look more real.
Another thing I did, was a new intro for my videos, this is basicly speed particles jumping around! I just need to add some sound to it ...I will put it up once its is done.
I guess I actually did do something these days...

Working on new video: Blasted 2

I am currently 40% done with Blasted 2 I have added the effect, the camera shake and all that cool stuff. What is new in this version:

• Shadow added
• 3D guy looks like is standing on the floor
• particles of the road exploding
  
• Smoke
• and more!

It is currently rendering. (by the time I wrote this the render is done) I just need to add sound effects, and the intro.
If Im almost done...why is it 40% you ask? Because this new blasted is going to be called Blasted 2: The landing! So I am actually going to shoot myself up and then land! Im almost done with the shooting up part, (40%) but I haven't started the landing part (40%) or the intro (10%) or sound effects (10)

Also, this week I got alot of new ideas which I will not mention yet, but when I finish Blasted 2 and start working on them Ill let you know.

Video/Blog To-do's

I decided to come up with a video and blog to do list.
Here it is:

Blog

• Add a "permanent post" under header. --I have been wanting to do this for a long time! It is basicly a post (or something) that is always the first post no matter what. It is under the header.
  
• If I can add the "permanent, under the header" post I would like to include what videos I'm working on and the percent of completion. Ex: Blasted 70% done...
• Add this To-do list to the "permanent" post, and check when competed.
  
• If the permanent post does not work I will add that to the sidebar :(
• Improve the overall site layout.

Video

• Blasted 2 (1 is already done)
  
• Improve explosion in Blasted 2
  
• New video with green screen.

So basically everything above would be included in this "permanent post" and I will be checking off or striking what I have done.

PS: Things might appear to look weird and I might be making a lot of Posts...this is because I now found a way to make the awesome "permanent post". Expect it to be completely done by tomorrow.

New Tripod and updates

I just got a new tripod today! (from ebay)
Now I can use it to record my self in front of my two new green screens so expect many green-screen based effects to come!
I am currently done with a mirror one in which my reflection does something else...(Will upload after I get a title for it) :)
And I am starting to work on a rocket one where I shoot myself up into the sky! Lets see how that turns out ;)
Any more ideas would be much appririated.

If you watch closely, the light changes when the coke is "gone" This was caused by some weird shadow when I was doing the effect.

OK so I finally got a name for my new magic video (and series) (NO THAT'S NOT THE TOP SECRET ONE) ;)

I am already done with the video I'm just adding some extra stuff like sound effects.
I decided not to include the second one because It was so bad! (It got deleted and I had to re-do it with no patience)

New Green Screen

I finally got my new green screen from ebay! I already had one, but It wasn't big enough. Now I can start doing lots of videos that involve a green screen:)
Some of the things I have in Mind:
A rocket video where I shoot up to the sky.
A new Series (TOP SECRET)
and Ill think of more.

OH NO!

Oh! No!
After more than an hour of working on the magic video....after Effects Crashed!
Luckily I had saved by work 30 minutes ago so I didn't loose all of the work, but I did loose more that half of it. I was already done when It crashed!
Right now I am reading the particles and completing the effects, then Ill but both videos together and upload them.
In my opinion: I don't think the video turned out like I wanted it too. It doesn't look like I though it wood. The effects sounded really easy, but when I actually started doing it, It look a long time and effort. There were also some problems with the shadow, so I had to add some particles to "fix" them.

BTW This will not happen again because I have change my auto save settings to once every 5 minutes!

PS: Ill be editing the blog layout either today or tomorrow as well as advertise the blog a bit to get more visitors ;).

Working on Magic video

Hey guys! I thought I would give you an update on my new video that is soon to come up!
The video is called
Magic!
^^ Its the only name I could come up with :/ So If you have a better Idea, Please TEll me!
Maybe something like "The best magic trick in the world" would work ;)
Ok so what I basically do is I take and show a coke bottle to the audience. I put a sweater over the bottle and when I lift off the sweater...BOOM the coke bottle is gone. This effect is looking pretty realistic right now, but I'm still going to make more shots of it to convince the audience :)
I might, If the video gets popular enough make it a series and do more of them.
Ill try to get it done soon, but I cant give any release dates. I want it to be really good.

New Outro

Widget

As you can see, I have added a new widget in the side bar. It took me a while to get the script where it needs to go, but I got it to work :)
This widget will display all of my videos so you can easily see them. Please check it out and tell me if you find any bugs or problems.

So I was watching my videos and I realized that my outros (the comment rate and subscribe things) were really boring so I'm am working on a cool on on 3D space.
I will probably upload it toomorow so keep an eye on it.
It is the outro I will be using for my feature videos....until I make a new one.
